Jeff will be performing on guitar with Emmanuel Jal at C. Juarez and Omnilife Stadium in Guadalajara.

Jeff will be performing on guitar with Kae Sun at Midem in Cannes, France.

February 5 2012  CBC 99.1 FM Live (Toronto, Canada)
Jeff will be performing on guitar with Kae Sun at a live CBC 99.1 FM  Black History Month Event at Trane Studio.

March 6 2012 McMaster University
Jeff will be presenting his paper "Placing Africa at the Heart of History" at 12:30pm in Council Chambers, Gilmour Hall 111 as part of an African Diaspora symposium.

March 22  2012  Toronto Center for the Arts (Toronto, Canada)
Jeff will be performing on guitar with Kae Sun at The Toronto Center for the Arts - Opening for Karl Wolf @ 9pm.

March 26 Algonquin College (Ottawa, Canada) Jeff will be performing on guitar with Kae Sun at Algonquin College - with Whale Tooth.

April 22 -28 UNESCO Conference (Free Town, Sierra Leone)
Jeff will be presenting his paper “The Kru Peoples: An Early Model of Outsourcing Wage Labor in West Africa” at the UNESCO conference “Sierra Leone: Past and Present”. He will also give a guitar performance.

May 4 2012 Freetown, Sierra Leone
Jeff will be performing with Africa Ruby and other Sierra Leoneon reggae artists at Aces Night Club.

June 8 2012 Luminato Festival  (Toronto, Canada)
Jeff will be performing on guitar with Kae Sun at The Hub-David Pecaut Square - Opening for K'naan @ 8pm.

February 2011 - Emmanuel Jal Canadian mini-tour
Jeff played guitar along with Emmanuel Jal as part of his Canadian mini-tour.

March 12 - Canadian Music Week -The Supermarket - Toronto, Canada
Jeff will be playing guitar with Emmanuel Jal as part of Canadian Music Week. The concert will take place at "The Supermarket" at 11pm.

Jeff will be presenting his ground breaking  research on Ottobah Cugoano as a follow up to his first major US publication with the University of Hawaii Press - The Journal of World History

June 7 2011- filming for TV show "Guitar Picks"
Jeff will be playing guitar with artist Kate Fair as part of the TV series "Guitar Picks" hosted by Kim Mitchell and airing on Treasure HD.

July 4-6, Univeristy of Ibadan (Ibandan, Nigeria)
 Jeff will be presenting at the Annual Toyin Falola Conference.  His paper is entitled:
"From Child Soldiers to Authors and Artists : Exploring the Written and Musical Expressions of Emmanuel Jal and Ishmael Beah"

Jeff will be playing guitar with Emmanuel Jal at festivals across Canada including the Vancouver Folk Music Festival, the Hillside Festival and the Quebec City Music Festival.

Jeff will be presenting his paper entitled " Child Soldiers and Modern Slavery in the 21st Century" and performing
music for a UNESCO event featuring keynote speaker former Governor General Michaelle Jean.

December 1 2009 Canadian Museum for Human Rights Roundtable Talks (Toronto, Canada)
Jeff Gunn and Karlee Sapoznik presented their case for the need to create awareness and combat modern forms of slavery.
